On http://www.debian.org/MailingLists/subscribe it says about
debian-user-de:

This mailing list is the main mailing list for German speaking
users. To subscribe to the list send "subscribe debian-user-de" to
majordomo@jfl.de To unsubscribe send "unsubscribe debian-user-de" to
  the same address.

This is not correct anymore. To subscribe to the list one should now
send a mail to debian-user-de-request@lehmanns.de with the subject
<Your-Email-Address>'. Contact Jan.Otto@Lehmanns.de for further
information.
