Bug#62366: CVS Interface is not working correctly

(I'm not sure, if this is the right pseudo-package, but there is no
cvs.debian.org pseudo-package, or am I wrong here?)
When I want to view a file with the CVS-Webinterface found on
cvs.debian.org I get an error-message:

read/write access to the history file cvs [checkout aborted]:
/cvs/debian-boot/CVSROOT/history: Permission denied
Check whether the directory /cvs/debian-boot/CVSROOT exists and the script
has write-access to the CVSROOT/history file if it exists.
The script needs to place lock files in the directory the file is in as
well.

(I've tried several other CVSRoots beside debian-boot, but none of them
seem to work.)
