index times on mail list archives

  I tried id-utils on the debian user mail list archives.
time id-utils-3.2d/src/mkid -f debian-user -m ../myid.map
/debian/web/debian.org/Lists-Archives/debian-user-[0-9]??[0-9]

real    20m11.585s
user    7m37.480s
sys     3m54.080s

We are indexing 493 Megs into 27 Megs of index and taking 20 minutes to 
do it.

Due to the way that idutils indexes, it is unlikely that one huge index
file would make sense.  I'm going to hack up some php code to look and
search this index.
