This is stranger!
$ host www.spi-inc.org
www.spi-inc.org         A       198.186.203.20
$ exit
logout
Connection to www.debian.org closed.
scooter$ host www.spi-inc.org
www.spi-inc.org         A       209.41.108.203

That's why I'm getting these errors and possibly you're not.
Have we got an old version of SPI hiding somewhere?
