gnome packages, but they point to Jim's old gnome-staging area, not the
ones at www.gnome.org

Since Gnome now maintains their own pages about running an updated
gnome on slink, I've just pointed to them from the releases/slink/
page. These bugs can be closed and the Gnome group (not independant
debian developers) take responsibility for this.
