Interview Inquiry about Open Source Community Research

To whom it may concern,

We are a team of researchers at Northeastern University studying open-source projects and communities. We are reaching out today because we would be interested in interviewing members of your community about their experience and involvement with Debian

This study seeks to identify factors that contribute to the longevity and sustainability of open-source communities, specifically focusing on what causes new developers to join and contribute to projects.

Interviews will be conducted virtually and will take approximately one hour to complete. The compensation for participating is a $30 Amazon gift card. Those who choose to participate will be asked about their personal experiences with the open-source community, which may include both positive and negative factors.

If this is something you think members of your community would be interested in, please email me at lange.ke@northeastern.edu and I will be in contact.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like any additional information.

Thank you, and hopefully you have a great day!

Best,

Robin
