Dear Andrea,

As you probably know, the src:google-android-installers package also ships 51-
android.rules in the bin:google-android-platform-tools-installer package.

Can I "safely" Depends on your package to be sure the file is updated 
regularly? Otherwise we would have to either "Conflict" or use the system of 
"alternatives".

BTW, can I suggest you to add a script like the existing "update-pciids" from 
bin:pciutils package. You could name it "update-android-udev-rules" for 
example.
