Bug#1024683: Interest to participate
Hello!
I would be willing to help out with packaging helix, seeing as it is really useful editor and I want to use in some debian systems on which cargo would not be a great route to install it.
Therefore I would like to offer my help with packaging some of its dependencies and maybe the main package as well. I would need some guidance on how to proceed, seeing as in the salsa there are a lot of dependencies still out necessary to be packaged.
Where could I start? Is there are any low-hanging fruit depency which could be a great target for me?
I have registered an account with the Salsa gitlab and am waiting on approval for it.
