Wolfram Engine is a standalone installation of the Wolfram Language, the same language that powers Mathematica and Wolfram|Alpha.

Wolfram Engine can be used to write and run Wolfram Language programs and scripts.

Wolfram Engine can be freely used for pre-production software development under the Wolfram Engine Community Edition license.

We're looking for a sponsor to help us through the process of including this package in the Debian non-free repository. Maintenance of the wolfram-engine .deb package will be provided by Wolfram Research.
