I request an adopter for the wput package. I no longer use the
package, everything I used it for can be done with curl; wput hasn't
been maintained upstream for a long time, whereas curl is very
actively maintained. (All this means that it may be better to drop
wput entirely.)


The package description is:
 Wput is a tiny ftp-client, that uploads files or directories to a
 remote ftp-server.
 .
 Main features are: resuming, time-stamping, wget-like interface,
 proxy-support and speed-limit.
