Net::LibIDN2 provides Perl bindings for GNU libidn2, a C library for handling internationalized domain names according to IDNA 2008, Punycode and Unicode TR46. It closely follows the original C API of that library.

Dear developers,

there are Perl modules in Debian packages that already support Net::LibIDN2 (libnet-dns-perl for instance).  As libidn2 implements the revised algorithm for internationalized domain names in contrast to its predecessor libidn, it would make sense to also have libnet-libidn2-perl as a Debian package next to libnet-libidn-perl.

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,
