In November 2017 Nunito has been expanded to GF Cyrillic Pro by Manvel Shmavonyan, and Alexei Vanyashin."

This is a Google Web Font. It is used in bootstrap themes. It is a dependency of r-cran-bslib. 
It would be appropriate for the Debian Font team to maintain.
