Bug#951113: ITP: webp-pixbuf-loader -- WebP Image format GdkPixbuf loader.
Hi,
No news on this package.
The webp format is increasingly used. It's a shame not to be able to see
these images in Linux desktops. Image viewers like EOG or EOM don't see
webp images, there are no thumbnails in file explorers...
There are several bug reports that are blocked because the software uses
pixbuf-loader.
