This library provides a Python implementation of the Internet Archive's SURT (Sort-friendly URI Reordering Transform) algorithm.

This is useful for situations where it's desirable to sort a set of URIs in a way that maintains contiguity based on DNS topological hierarchy followed by path hierarchy.
