Hi Philip,
great to see you plan to package ksmbd-tools. Now that linux 5.15 landed in Debian it would be really usable ;-)
Very true so. However I'm not sure what to do about the reject: md4 parts are not welcome, however upstream also doesn't know: https://github.com/cifsd-team/ksmbd-tools/issues/218
From the ksmdb documentation[1] I learned that it uses ksmbd-tools from https://github.com/cifsd-team/ksmbd-tools - might be worth switching to this fork?
That already has happened...
Thanks & best regards Philip[1] https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/tree/Documentation/filesystems/cifs/ksmbd.rst
