I volunteer for adopting this package. The upstream developer of lmod already agreed with it, I just need someone to approve from Debian's side.
A Debian package of Lmod's latest version has been created and the source for it is at
https://github.com/surak/Lmod, which is a fork of the official Lmod repo with the added parts for creating the .deb and a container with Debian 11 which creates the package and tests it.
