The below is one fragile temporary solution for quickly addressing bugs
and getting out 5.2.8:
1) Make building of *.deb pkgs possible locally
2) Address bugs
3) Let Roberto do the final build and upload the pkgs
At the time I looked at reworking the pkgs, I was not able to find a way
to programatically change the maintainer name and other information.
So assuming that the bugs are worked out and the fixes are committed in
the Debian repo, Roberto would simply have to use 'pkg.py' to do 5.2.8.
