Upstream snuffleupagus activity appears to have transitioned to https://github.com/jvoisin/snuffleupagus . Thanks to taffit on #debian-php for help pointing out the stale activity (2018, one commit 2020). Upstream currently compiles well on unstbale, with d/control Build-Depends addition of dh-php.
