  Description     : Cross Platform Notes

tomboy-ng is a rewrite of the old favorite, Tomboy Notes.
Tomboy had become difficult to maintain, unusable on some of the
platforms it once supported and required substantial dependencies.
Like the original, tomboy-ng supports a range of text enhancements,
automatic links to other notes, shows multiple notes, file sync to
other systems, printing, multi language (only English and Spanish so
far), searching. tomboy-ng uses the same file format and will sync
to the same file sync repository.
In addition, tomboy-ng can manage its backup files, take snapshots
of all notes and config data, has a built in calculator, detailed
help notes, spell check, single note mode.
tomboy-ng will sync, over the internet, using sshfs to any server the
 owner can ssh to.
tomboy-ng is built, from the same source, to work with 32 or 64 bit
GTK2, Qt5 (64bit only) and a list including Windows, MacOS, Raspbian.
It can be built for GTK3 but not to a satisfactory standard as yet.
A script exists that will convert the zip file downloaded from github
to a 'kit' ready for debuild.
A tomboy-ng binary install uses about 5Meg, in most systems little or
 no additional packages are required.
Some issues remain about building in a manner appropriate for Debian.
Its likely tomboy-ng will not build satisfactory using  the version of
Lazarus in Buster.  Bullseye is fine.
