It includes document management, address and file management, but also functions like direct search in judgements and laws. The software is built on a three-tier architecture based on a database (MySQL or MariaDB), middleware (Wildfly AS) and a client (Java). This application won the third prize of Thomas-Krenn-Award 2019. While libreoffice-canzeley-client is designed for smaller law firms, j-lawyer.org satisfies the needs of larger ones. I do not use it myself because I am the author of Canzeley (upstream of libreoffice-canzeley-client), but j-lawyer.org is a very important component to establish Free Software in companies.
