For Now, I have added in my name, along, that should work well.
If you really don't want your name in d/control ,I'll so the needful in the next release.

I have pushed my changed to my local fork here[1], with updated version.
I'm not a member of go-team yet; could you add me on salsa, or give me push access to the package
in go-team?
That would be great.
Need review and sponsorship for this package as well.
PS: The CI might fail on my runner, since it needs Micheal's runner, as can be seen in yml file. but I'm confident it will pass
when pushed to golang team. I observed the same thing in this Merge Request[2].
