Bug#897688: [Pkg-pascal-devel] Bug#897688: RFP: tomboy-ng -- simple note-taking application
Now, responding to a very old topic, and if I an doing wrong there, very
sorry ! Its really an "attention Abou Al Montacir thing" !
Original message was from Erik about adding tomboy-ng to debian. It was
quite rightly pointed out that tomboy-ng was not, then ready. I am the
lead developer of tomboy-ng and think, perhaps, it is a lot closer now.
Abou indicated he would be willing to help, is that still the case ?
Background -
tomboy-ng is a rewrite of the original Tomboy but using Free Pascal and
Lazarus to avoid the run time libraries that are making Tomboy
impracticable on many platforms. It is, now, reasonably stable, still
requires a bit of UI polishing but is largely fully functional and
largely bug free.
I currently release binary debs (along with rpm, windows and MacOS
packages) from github. I can now build a SRC Deb, not sure what you will
think of the way I do it but it does work. While FPC/Lazarus does have
minimal run time dependencies, build time does require some setup !
I will clearly require some assistance !
