Description     : A daemon for VSCP and friends m2m/IoT framework.

VSCP (Very Simple Control Protocol) was released in it's first version
in the autumn of 2000. It will therefore be twenty years next year. An
electronic paper once dubbed it as the IoT framework that was available
before IoT itself was around.

VSCP is a framework with software, drivers and firmware that makes it
possible to abstract the interaction with resource limited IoT devices.
The upcoming release 14.0.0 is a major rewrite from the previous release
and with some new goals for upper level functionality.

VSCP has been and will always be free and not owned by anyone.

I have maintained VSCP since the start and plan to continue to do so.
Part of that is packaging which really is needed and which I put a major
effort into lately to get done in a proper way.

This is the first package (the daemon) of a series of planed packages
(drivers/libs etc).

Need a sponsor of course. Will ask for that on IoT maintainers
debian-iot-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org which appears to be the
relevant place to ask.
