I have some packaging in the works which build and installs fine, but there are a few things still left to do like getting manpages to work and fix some lintian errors. You can see my progress here: https://salsa.debian.org/jespermd-guest/gnome-firmware

I would like to become a Debian package maintainer and thought this might be a good
