We've processed a bunch of the dependencies for this, and uploaded some
to NEW (with related git repos in salsa). Some are not done yet, mostly
because their license is unclear.

So some packages are waiting in NEW, others have issues with their
copyright status, for which I have opened issues upstream. In any case,
ITPs have been filed, except for the first package, because it's a fork
of another package which might involve some clarification. We don't want
to package duplicate copies of code there...
