Manticore Search is a high performance full-text search oriented engine.

It is a fork from Sphinx search engine 2.3.2 and developed by ex-members of Sphinx team.

Beside bug fixing, adapt the code to modern coding standards,

it includes several major features like Percolate Queries and a JSON API.

At the moment Manticore maintains compatibility with indexes created with Sphinx.

This package will be maintained by the Manticore Search team.
