May I also request that 5 seconds after this package passes NEW,
light-locker gets a RM request, gets shot, cut to pieces, set on fire,
rolled over by a steamroller, buried, have its grave salted and receive a
tombstone written in Comic Sans?

I'd understand xfce not wanting to depend on xscreensaver (yay timebombs) if
there was a working alternative.  With what you have here, it looks like
that problem is about to get dealt with.
