Bug#906850: RFP: futhark -- a data-parallel functional language
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
I'm the maintainer of Futhark, a data-parallel functional programming
language whose compiler is implemented in Haskell:
https://futhark-lang.org
Futhark is already available on macOS via Homebrew and Arch Linux via
AUR, and it would be a shame if Debian had to go without.
Debian already has other packages written in Haskell, and the Futhark
compiler does not require anything unusual to build, so I think whatever
procedure is usual should be sufficient here. However, I do not know
what that procedure might be. Also, I am ready to make changes upstream
in order to make the packaging more convenient.
