Hello Mike!

I am a chemistry teacher and I use openboard in my classes.

As I use Debian SID and had to compile this application, I needed to
package it. It is true! With many lintians. Enough.! Lol

After gaining a little more confidence in the packaging process, I
researched the BTS for some open ITP for this package and it was and it was
good to find out that yes, there already is one.

Yes. It is on my list.

However, it has been a while since you registered this ITP bug, stating
that you intended to package it.

I still have the intention to package it. Before the buster freeze.

That's why I get in touch. As I worked on my own package, I would like to
to collaborate with you, because for me it would be not only a challenge,
but a great learning opportunity.

What do you think?

The main problems are:

  * fonts (they need to be package separately)
  * xpdf embedded code (should be converted to libpoppler)

Please send me your tarball and I take a look (I'll be on VAC starting on Friday, so I'll probably get to it after Aug 12th. Sorry that things take so long here.

Mike
