  Description : verify disk integrity

disktest will test your disks using S.M.A.R.T. and badblocks, saving the
results into files named after your disk's vendor, model, and serial
number.

Basic precautions have been made, i.e. disktest will refuse to operate
on mounted disks. Still, by design, disktest will erase any and all data
on disks you decide to test. You have been warned.
