Thank you for your interest in improving fonts in Debian.

I am neither a Debian Developer nor part of Debian Fonts Team, but here's
some personal suggestions:

* I believe Debian has long dropped the naming convention of ttf-somename.
Please consider using name of fonts-somename.

* Please get into contact with Debian Fonts Team:
