As said, I'll happily help maintaining the package, so no need to
worry, I'll add myself as Co-Maintainer and be of course available for
any reviews, questions, hacks...
I've fixed the meta-data of this bug, so that it is now a "intend to
adopt" type. Please note that I've only took ownership of the bug as a
ITA bug needs an owner. There should be no implication otherwise, so
please feel free to claim ownership yourself.
