I created a proof of concept Debian package in the debian branch on <URL: https://github.com/petterreinholdtsen/vlc-bittorrent >. It hardcodes the amd64 arch, but could serve as inspiration for a official Debian package, which perhaps should be maintained as part of the Debian multimedia team or on collab-maint, not github. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
