Browser-based app for easy to use, accessible encrypted chat. Cryptocat
is an experimental browser-based chat client for easy to use, encrypted
conversations. It aims to make encrypted, private chat easy to use and
accessible. Cryptocat wants to break down the barrier that prevents the
general public from having an accessible privacy alternative that they
already know how to use.

Hi!

So there has been a total rewrite of Cryptocat, it's not a browser
extension anymore, but a standalone program as far as I can see. All the
packaging work that has been done is not useful anymore.
I am thus closing this ITP and whoever wants to package the new
Cryptocat, should simply do it.

Cheers!
u.
