Description : TrailDB is a highly optimized library for storing and querying series of discrete events

TrailDB is a highly optimized database library, written in C, which
allows you to store and query trillions of discrete events quickly.
In contrast to many other time-series databases, TrailDB focuses
on discrete data, like events in a log file, which it can compress
efficiently using a custom compression algorithm. It has been powering
large-scale production systems since 2014 and it is being developed
actively. The repo has 750+ stars in GitHub, indicating broad public
interest.

TrailDB is a small, clean, C library with only two external dependencies,
both of which are available as existing Debian packages, which hopefully
makes it straightforward to package. TrailDB has language bindings for a
number of languages, which can be packaged separately later.

I am the upstream author. I am happy to help with packaging as needed. I
have some previous experience of creating Debian packages.
