Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

Hi all, I'm looking for someone else to take over this package.

I don't use it myself, and I'd like to reduce my time spent on C++. The popcon
is fairly low and historically upstream has not been very attentive to packaging
issues. The current version 0.12.0 requires boost 1.58 which is already old -
1.62 is in Debian unstable. So that's why the Debian version is only at 0.11.2.

Upstream git looks promising for boost 1.62 support but I don't have the time to
try to backport this or maintain it myself.

If nobody offers to take it over, I'll RM it in ~1 month but keep the git repo
on alioth in the collab-maint directory; 0.12.0 is already imported there.
