This ITP/RFP has been around for a long time without anything real
happening.

Since 2014 the upstream authors have expressed their with to stop
maintenance and noone step-up since then:
  http://galleryproject.org/time-to-hibernate

So this is a dead project and this BR is now meaningless, closing.
