It contains in particular the kiwix-serve software which is a HTTP aware daemon able to serve ZIM files. To do that, the Kiwix tools rely on the Kiwix library for which a RFP has already been done earlier today: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=856552 This package can also been seen a "cheap alternative" to the Kiwix(-desktop) package which hopefully will be released too later this year: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=763321. Debian developer Vasudev/Copyninja (uid=vasudev,ou=users,dc=debian,dc=org) has already volunteered to work on this RFP.
