Description : Application launcher (vala port of gnome-launch-box)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Valaunch is a vala port of gnome-launch-box. This is the description from the
homepage:

----------
Valaunch is an application starter that can be used to quickly find apps,
bookmarks or files on your computer and start/open these.

The valaunch window is shown on the entry of an desktop-wide keyboard shortcut.
After that, it usually only takes entering a few letters to find the desired
target.
The valaunch window is created with cairo and gtk+ and has transparency if the
desktop supports it.
This project is a port of gnome launch box (
http://live.gnome.org/GnomeLaunchBox ) to the vala language.
The vala compiler creates GObject/C code from vala sources. This means no
interpreted language is used and that valaunch has very little overhead.
For releases, C sources are distributed and therefore no vala compiler is
needed to compile them.
----------

I think it can be useful in desktop environments like Xfce or Lxde.

Hi and thanks in advance!
