Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

Description: manipulate zoo archives
Zoo is used to create and maintain collections of files in
compressed form. It uses a Lempel-Ziv compression algorithm
that gives space savings in the range of 20% to 80%
depending on the type of file data. Zoo can store and
selectively extract multiple generations of the same file.
 .
This package exists for its historical value. If you are
looking for a compression tool for serious use, check tar
 and gzip.

I no longer have use for this program. The package is in
otherwise in a good shape: standard 3.9.4, debhelper 9,
Pacakging format 3.0 (quilt),

Copyright format 1.0

For a prospective new maintainer:

Start maintaining the package from Git[*]

    git clone
    $LOGIN@git.debian.org:/git/collab-maint/zoo.git

    PTS: http://packages.qa.debian.org/z/zoo.html
