* Package name    : pd-extended
  Version         : 0.44

  Programming Lang: (C, Tcl, Lua, puredata)
  Description : Extended version of puredata which recommends the installation of a large set of extra pd libraries, extensions and documentation.

pd-extended is an extended version of puredata, with some gui enhancements among other things. It is fully compatible with puredata extra libraries, such as pd-zexy,
pd-plugin, pd-pan, etc. All though it replaces puredata, it can be installed and run next to it.

Pd-extended has not seen any updates in >5 years and is officially
declared dead.

it should not be packaged.

almost all libraries that came bundled with Pd have now been made
available as separate Debian packages, so installing the
"multimedia-puredata" metapackage will give you most of Pd-extended's
functionality.
Pd-extended's tweaks to the core of Pd have been partially obsoleted by
recent Pd development, though most of the GUI extension are still not
available (though there has been recent progress in finally integrating
them into Pd proper)
