I've added a more general-science sentence "The inhomog library calculates average cosmological expansion" to the three binary sections of the debian/control file: https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/debian-astro/packages/inhomog.git That's still a very technical sentence: it distinguishes calculating average expansion from assuming average expansion.
