Description: Calculations for the position of the sun and moon
This is astral, a Python module which calculates times for various positions of the sun: dawn, sunrise, solar moon, sunset, dusk, solar elevation, solar azimuth, and rahukaalam. It also calculates phases of the moon.
This package is a dependency of mycroft-core, another python application that I am trying to package. It is also a useful tool for natural language parsing.
I plan to join the Debian Python Modules Team and maintain the package as a part of that team. I'd appreciate any members of that team who would be willing to help maintain the package after this initial packaging. I am also looking for a sponsor for this and future packages.
