Bug#844624: ITP: fonts-genericons -- vector icons embedded in a webfont

This is a dependence for gnusocial and gnusocial uses genericons. We first thought of going with gnereicons neue but then it may break gnusocial.

Or can we package both genericons and genericons neue? Or if gnusocial upstream is ok with gnereicons neue then should we drop packaging gnereicons.

Description : vector icons embedded in a webfont

Vector icons embedded in a webfont designed to be clean and simple keeping with
a generic aesthetic. Use for instant HiDPI or to easily change colors on the
fly.

Hi,

Upstream seems to recommend the use of Genericons Neue¹, so is there any
reason to package legacy Genericons?

Thanks for contributing,
Vincent
