The Orthanc project is a lightweight, extensible Vendor Neutral Archive for
medical imaging (i.e. a DICOM server). It now provides a reference
implementation of DICOM for whole-slide imaging (digital pathology), following
DICOM Supplement 145.

This package should be maintained by the Debian Med team, as it already
maintains all the Orthanc-related packages.
