Description : Build static websites with an easy-to-use framework
Middleman is a Ruby framework for building static websites with HTML-templating
languages, compiled-to-CSS languages such as Sass, and compiled-to-JavaScript
languages such as CoffeeScript. It is somewhat similar to the Python framework
Jekyll.
I think this would be useful to have packaged for Debian for greater stability
over installing via rubygems.org (which in my experience with fraught with
peril). Packaging this for Debian will require packaging some other Ruby
"gems", as it built on top of Padrino <http://padrinorb.com/>, which is not
already in Debian.
It is a widely-used framework
<https://middlemanapp.com/community/built_using_middleman/>, and has at least
one Debian user (myself).
