I was only asking...

As the package states, there is already an emcas WebDAV interface. The
purpose of eldav appears to be a smaller WebDAV client (disclaimer: I
have not used either).

There is no upstream and the last upstream release is 13 years old. In
this time no-one appears - from my extremely extensive google search :)
- to have continued development and now the package has no maintainer I
think it's likely that it will just rot.
