Jonathan, By all means, please take over the ITP. We've been waiting for too long, and it would be a big plus if we could have LXD for Stretch. If it was there, I could working out a python-nova-lxd and nova-compute-lxd package, which would be nice to see in Debian Stertch as well. We've been waiting for too long.
