Description : lightweight USB framework for AVRs

LUFA (formerly known as MyUSB) is a USB stack for Atmel
microcontrollers that have builtin USB support. LUFA implements several
classes (e.g. mass storage, HID, MIDI) and provides both device and
 host side demos for them.

as far as i can tell, the most important part of the package will be
providing the source files in a standardized location, together with
precompiled parts (as does avr-libc). documentation is available based
on doxygen and could go into another binary, as could example programs
(which will be the only 'Architecture: any' part unless they are only
shipped in /usr/share/doc/.../examples -- i'd prefer to have them
pre-compiled to get started quickly).

matthias, i've included you in cc due to the note at [1] -- still
interested?
