* Package name    : dragmath
  Version         : 0.7.8.2
  Upstream Author : Chris Sangwin <C.J.Sangwin@bham.ac.uk> Alex Billingsley <email@alexbillingsley.co.uk>
* URL             : http://www.dragmath.bham.ac.uk/
* License         : GPL3
  Programming Lang: Java
  Description : Java applet that allows for easy, "drag and drop" equation editing.

The editor lets users build up mathematical expressions in a traditional two dimensional way, and then output the results in a correctly formed syntax.

I would like to have DragMath packaged in Debian, because the package I'm working on - Moodle 2 is using it.
DragMath contains some embedded libraries, including JEP: http://sourceforge.net/projects/jep/, which is not maintained any more.
